Rust Brick Red, one of three exclusive fountain pen inks produced for us by Van Dieman's Ink. Taking inspiration from around our store, we worked with Peter & Belinda from Van Dieman's Ink to create a small range of custom ink colours that reflect our aesthetic.
When looking around our store for inspiration for these inks, it was hard to look past the bricks that surround us. The beautiful old brick building that houses our store is such a key part of our identity, so it made sense to immortalise this in ink form. We think Belinda & Peter really nailed the brief on this one, with a colour that incorporates both the warm and cool reddish tones that our bricks hold, along with an interesting sheen that reminds us of the mortar that holds it all together.
30ml of Dye Based Ink in a sturdy glass bottle. Suitable for all fountain pens, as well as dip pens and brushwork. Proudly made in Tasmania.
