Palawa Pigments create more than just artist-grade paints—they craft a connection to Country, culture, and creativity. Founded by artists Andrew and Jacquelyn Mansell, Palawa Pigments is a Tasmanian Aboriginal-owned family business rooted in the rich traditions of ochre and natural pigment use. Inspired by the landscapes of Trouwerner/Lutruwita (Tasmania) and beyond, they honour the raw beauty of the earth by transforming natural organics & minerals into handmade, high-quality watercolours and art materials.
