Maison Sajou was relaunched in 2005 by Frederique Crestin-Billet, who started collecting vintage haberdashery at a very young age, especially colour charts, thread boxes and the famous little Sajou albums. From the start, she put an emphasis on French-made goods. A collaboration with Ets Toulemonde started in 2009, resulting in the addition of the whole Fil Au Chinois range, one of the oldest thread brands in France. The waxed cable linen thread is the ultimate thread for hand leather work and bookbinding.
