First designed in the 1930s, the German-made Kaweco Sport is a compact, reliable pen with an excellent vintage-meets-contemporary look. The Sport is recommended as a pen with excellent quality, durability and incorporating a little bit of pen design history. The oversized cap arrangement (approx. 14mm in diameter) creates a small closed pen but a full-length open pen.
The Brass Sport is the heavyweight of the Sport series, and is turned from first-class brass. Weighing 44g, this fountain pen is the heaviest Kaweco Pen. Comes complete with storage tin.
Brass has been valued since ancient times for its beauty and durability. The Eco brass fountain pen contains no lead in the formula of the brass, so the pen will age more like copper than regular brass. Slight colour variations occur naturally and the appearance of each pen may vary from photos. Over time the colour will deepen as the brass oxidises, creating natural patina.
