The design is based on those distributed by major automobile manufacturers and other companies in the United States around the late 1950s for sales promotion. While the size, material, and details have been modified from the original, it boasts a simple, gender-neutral design and evokes a sense of nostalgia.
It fits nicely when attached to a bag or belt loop. The sliding handle, with its rough, non-slip surface, features a mechanism that resembles the prototype of modern carabiners.
