Founded in 1919, OHTO is one of the oldest pen manufacturing companies in Japan. In its long history, the company has made a number of advanced inventions and left its mark in the world of writing instruments.  In 1949, the company manufactured the world's first ball point pen with a chrome ball, this was also Japan's first ballpoint pen. With decades of experience, OHTO continue to innovate, developing original and adventurous writing instruments that are ahead of the pack.
