Recommended for medium to broad nibs, Herbin Universal Ink Cartridges are suitable for all fountain pens without a patented cartridge refill.

Violette Pensee is a professionally appropriate wine/grape colour that appears quite dark, especially on ivory paper. The ink has a fast drying time and does produce shading. Each pack of six 'snap in' ink cartridges comes packaged in a cylindrical metal tin.

All Herbin inks are pH neutral and non-toxic. They are water-based and therefore will run if wet. The inks are light fast and only natural dyes are used. High quality paper is recommended for use with Herbin Ink.
