J. Herbin Universal Ink Cartridges - Perle Noire

Recommended for medium to broad nibs, Herbin Universal Ink Cartridges are suitable for all fountain pens without a patented cartridge refill.

Perle Noir black ink was the first created by Herbin, with an exceptional quality. The pearl of black inks, it is a perfect shade of black with enough grey tones to calm it down and reduce any bold harshness. It is very moderate, sensible and complex in its shading. Each pack of six 'snap in' ink cartridges comes packaged in a cylindrical metal tin.

All Herbin inks are pH neutral and non-toxic. They are water-based and therefore will run if wet. The inks are light fast and only natural dyes are used. High quality paper is recommended for use with Herbin Ink.
