Dating back to a small boutique in Paris in 1700, J. Herbin Fountain Pen Ink is one of the best in the world, both in smoothness of writing and breadth and brilliance of colour palette. Vert Empire is a truly beautiful shade of green. Not bright or lush at all, it produces a very dark shading all the way down to a leafy green and even a khaki colour, depending on the paper used.
All J. Herbin inks are pH neutral and non-toxic. The inks are light fast and only natural dyes are used.
